i have a 30,000 gallon in ground pool with an old sand filter and pump. I’d like to upgrade. I was wondering about cartridge filters or salt systems, also the different pumps. I hear variable speed is the best.
Hello DDemarc - We’d be glad to assist you. The variable speed pump is definitely the way to go. The motors are more energy efficient and more durable. We would recommend something like the PureLine model PL2606. This is a 2.7HP variable speed pump.
The cartrdige filter that we would recommend is Hayward model C17502. This is a large single cartridge system.
We have a great deal on the PureLine salt system. The model we recommend for your pool is the PL7700. That system will treat up to 40,000 gallons.
