New pool

I am installing a fiberglass pool with offset jacuzzi.Total about 11,000 gallons. Rectangle 13’x26’ 2’ down to 5’

Jacuzzi round 8’ by 4’ deep

I want to go salt water.

The pump will be at about the same level as the bottom of the pool.and about 20’ from the pool.

There will be a small waterfall feature ,maybe a mister .

Thinking of cartridges.

Average daytime temp 85 F

Electricity shuts off a couple times a dsy and is expensive.

Thinking variable speed pump.

How big a pump filter system do I need. Am I better to go big on the pump to run all the water through faster, when there is electricity. Are there systems with memory ?

Do you ship to the Caribbean?

Hello - the point of a variable speed pool pump is to run it on the lowest possible RPMs for max savings. If you’re having rolling blackouts, it is kind of hard to calculate the needed RPMs for a set period. Especially if you do not know how long or when you’re going to have power. Variable speeds generally have a memory that allows it to store schedules when power is out.

Your best option might be a single or dual speed. Unless this rolling blackout situation is temporary.

Yes, we do ship to the Caribbean. I suggest calling us at 407-834-2200, or email upload@inyopools.com for specifics on shipping.
