New Pump Fittings

Hi all,

I recently bought a PowerFlo Matrix Pump 1.5 HP - SP1593 W3SP159.  This pump is actually much larger then my original pump and the fittinggs are larger then my original pump.

What I think I need to know from you are, what is the ID and OD threads of toe suction and discharge ports so I can get this pump installed.

The pump took over a week to come in and I was also away on vacation the next two weeks so I’m now back and trying to get the pool back in operation ASAP.

Bruce, the Hayward Powerflo Matrix has standard US 1.5 inch internal thread diameter. These types of fittings are sold at any local hardware store. The external threads are for proprietary Hayward unions part number SP1500UNPAK2 that you can view by clicking here.
