new system

We are considering replacing our pool system and a friend from Johnson controlls has suggested we look for a system as described below. Does something like this exist. Thanks

The pump is controlled by a sensor that is distal to the filters. When the filters are clean, the amount of force required (pump power) is much lower. As the filter starts to collect particulates, the flow and gpm begins to drop. This is immediately detected by the sensor which in turn increases the power to the pump to maintain proper volume of flow and turn over rates. The speed of the pump is completely automated and not controlled by any humans. (we tend to screw these things up).

The Pentair Intelliflo VF pump has the ability to adjust the flow automatically. Basically, you set a desired GPM rating and the pump will always maintain that setting. If your filter starts to get dirty, the pump will ramp up the RPM’s to meet the desired GPM.
