When replacing the spider gasket on this model should it be glued??
We would not recommend using glue. You can use an RTV silicone to keep it in place. The RTV silicone is much easier to remove when you have to replace the spider gasket in the future.
If you use the RTV silicone, wait 24 hours before running water through the valve. It needs time to cure.
