Pentair GloBrite light question

Hello. I am building a new gunite pool in the spring. I would like to use the Pentair GloBrite LED white lights for this pool. My question has to do with the depth of the pool lights below the waterline. I see that Pentair recommends that they be at least 4 inches below the water line. I would like to put them about 12-16 inches below waterline. My question has to do with what happens when the lights burn out and have to be replaced. Would I have to drain the pool? Or would it be possible to change out the lights with the water still in it? BTW, this pool will be indoors so no need to winterize it, etc. Any ideas?
