Pool cleaning service help!

I was just starting to clean my pool up for the summer (I know I’m late. I’ve been out of the state for the last couple months) and I found this service locator called Splash Promotion.

It actually seems pretty cool, just wondering if anyone has used it or heard if it’s good or not

Also if anyone is in the Boston area with cleaning company recomendations, let me know!

I’m not familiar with Splash Promotion or service companies in Boston. However, we have several guides and videos available for the DIY pool owner. http://www.inyopools.com/diy-resources.aspx

KevFraiseee,

I don’t live anywhere near the Boston area but I if you want to clean the water yourself I will be glad to help.

Peroxide is not recommended as a stand alone pool sanitizer. Not even by the EPA. Sanitizer levels for peroxide would need to be in the 50-100 ppm range. Levels this high can cause extreme bather discomfort. Peroxide is more susceptible to UV ray deterioration than chlorine.

Softswim and Baquacil have a peroxide content of 27.5% along with other chemicals that deter UV rays. And their recommended sanitizer levels are 40-80 ppm. And Baquacil/Swimsoft are among the most expensive sanitizers on the market.
