Pool heat pump HP code only when it's hot outside or in direct sunlight

Hey guys

I have a Waterco 50000 BTU heater for about 8 years now. But this year it has started malfunctioning. When it’s hot outside or when it is in direct sunlight the heater will stop and I get the HP code which according to the manual is high pressure (coolant).

Like I said when it’s cool outside it functions properly. This only happens when it’s hot… The flow to the heater is adequate. I clean my filter cartridge every week.

Any ideas?
