Pool heater replacment

I currently have a Raypak model PM206-EN-C heater that is leaking. The polymer header has a crack in the goveernor port that I fixed but is still leaking through the tube bundle. Pricing for the tube bundle ranges fro $800 to $1000. I have found whole heater replacement for $1500.

Am I better off repairing the current heater, but a same model replacement oris there anoter brand I can replace with.

I would recommend replacing it with another Raypak PR206AEN model. If you have saltwater go with the cupro-nickel heat exchanger option. The part number is PR206AENX.
