Hi. My pool pump motor has a model number C48J2PA105C1. I searched using your tool bar and it brought me to part number SQ1052. My original pump is .75hp and the SQ1052 motor is .5 hp. Original model number is listed as an alternative part number. Will this new motor work. I have seen videos that say the pump horsepower has to match motor horse power.
The replacement 3/4HP motor is model USQ1072. That is an uprated motor with a .95 total HP. The SQ1052 would work as well. Its a full rated .5HP with a .95 total HP rating.
