We are on our 3rd motor in 7 years and it’s happening again. Loud buzzing noise at start up. Anything we can do?

I’m a pool service tech. That doesn’t sound like the bearings, which usually make a high pitch noise when worn. It sounds more like a vibration of parts.

I would suggest replacing your Waterway Clear Bay pool pump motor with this Waterway Replacement Motor Please note that the motor suggested is a 1 HP standard motor which is equivalent in power to your 1.5 SPL HP Motor. Also, make sure to replace your Shaft Seal, you will need this Waterway Pool Pump Shaft Seal.
