My Jandy Plus HP 2 HP pump motor is making alot of noise, squealing. One day I found it tripped, and only loud humming when turned on. Changed capacitor and ran for a few more weeks. Now making alot of noise, pump still moves water.
Equipment is just about 5 years old in sandy desert hot service.
Is it worth having the pool guy replace motor, or should a just buy a complete pump/motor replacement for $650 with free shipping. Motor will cost $250-300 plus the labor to replace
