My pump ran without water and now it is not capable of keeping the basket full and produce normal pressure. It moves water but at a greatly reduced rate. Could changing the gaskets fix this?
Replacing the gaskets is a good place to start. While you have the pump open, inspect the impeller and diffuser and make sure those pieces are not damaged.
