I have kind of a different problem.
I received a " go Kit" form you and was repairing my motor.
Everything went well until I attached the motor back to the pump.
I have a Hayward Super !! Pump and there is a handle that needs to be attached when bolting the
motor back to the pump…
Long story short… I missed this step and forced one bolt and stripped the thread loose.
So now it just spins. I can’t tighten nor loosen it to take the bolt out,.
Hopefully this makes some sense.
I was wondering if you had any ideas how I might be able to remove the botlt and thread.
And if Idid, is the threaded piece replaceable.
Or did I just blow it, and now just looking at haaving to buy a new pump now.
