Pump motor is corroding at the back end, ate a hole in of housing. Not sure what’s causing it or how to slow it?
i have been having the same problem. I bought a VS motor the Vgreen works great but now looks like this after 5 month of duty. not sure what to do now, pump is only 5 months old.replaced a super pump after 4 years looked the same.
Based on the picture, my guess would be that the shaft seal was installed incorrectly. There must have been some leaking between the plate and the motor. Any leaking should be addressed immediately by replacing the shaft seal or readjusting it if it’s new.
