Pump Upgrade/Replacement

I’ve got what looks like a pretty old pump and motor and it’s running up quite the electric bill. I believe I’ve determined it to be an American Products Ultra Flo pump but not certain. I’ve attached pictures to help identify it.

I’d like to replace either just the motor or the entire pump with a variable speed to save on energy costs. I do have a water fall and in floor cleaners but my understanding is that I could run at low RPM most of the time and then high RPM for a shorter time and still have them be effective.

If I replace the entire pump I do not mind doing some re-plumbing so the replacement does not have to be a drop-in replacement.

I do have a small leak in it but I purchased the GOKIT20 and have plans to do replace the seals and gaskets if I decide to just replace the motor.

Thank you for contacting Inyo. The variable speed replacement motor for your Ultra Flo pump is model ECM27SQU. We recommend replacing the seals when you replace the motor. The seal kit is GOKIT20.

If you decide to replace the entire pump, we recommend the PureLine model PL2606. The PL2606 is a 2.7HP variable speed pump.
