Hi,
My pool pump turned off by itself as it was running. I turned off the power and motor was extremely hot. It restarted a few minutes later when I tried it. I’m thinking it’s time to rebuild it.
The motor makes a different noise when it starts now. I’m thinking bearings are going bad. After the water starts flowing, it goes back to its regular sound.
What would be the suggested items to replace? Pump is about 6 years old and is only used 4 months in the year. Nothing is leaking.
