Replace A.O. Smith k48k2n104

Need to replace my 3/4 hp A.O. Smith k48k2n104 motor with a variable speed motor. I understand the variable speed motor would be a 1.65hp motor. Which motor should I choose?

And must I replace the pump housing with the new motor?

I believe the current motor is 110v.

The variable speed replacement motor is currently only available in 230v. If you run the pump motor on 110v, I’d recommend the CT1072. That is a full rated 3/4HP single speed motor.
