i want to replace my Hayward Max Flo pump and motor (1.5 hp) with a

1540×907 472 KB
more affordable PURE LINE ?

could you recommend a good substitute ?

Hello Pat - Thank you for contacting Inyo. A good single speed option would be model PL2602. The PL2602 is a 1.5HP single speed pump.

If you want something more energy efficient, we recommend model number PL2605. The PL2605 is a 1.65HP variable speed pump.

excellent…what about the noise factor ?..what woulf the most quiet between Hayward and other brands you carry ?

The noise output of the single speed prime is similar to the Hayward Max-Flo and Super Pump. The variable speed Prime pump is very quiet when you start to drop the rpm’s.

would the PL 1601 do the trick ?

The Pure Flow 1.5HP PL1601 is not going to provide the same flow as your 1.5HP Max-flo or the 1.5HP PureLine Prime. I would recommend the PL2602 or another 1.5HP Hayward.
