Replaced Pool Pump SQ1052 - Worked for a Couple of Seconds Then Died

I replaced my pool pump (A.O. Smith 1/2 HP Square Flange 48Y Full Rate Motor - SQ1052) using your brilliant video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=mpJLp3oWDGU&feature=emb_logo

and everything went perfectly. Until I turned it on. It turned on for a couple of seconds and then nothing. Before I take it all apart again, are there any tips you can give me?

I would recommend double-checking the proper voltage that you have running to your motor, make sure the motor is set for the correct voltage, is wired correctly, make sure the shaft seal is installed correctly then bench test the motor with the impeller off. This should lead you in the right direction.
