Request Assistance - Replacement Parts measurement pictures

I have taken down a pool.  The pool size is 30ft diameter and 48 inch depth.    I do not know the brand name / model / manufacturer of this pool.    I do not know the age of this pool - probably at least 15yrs old or more.  I watched your video online which helps to identify pool components by part number.  Unfortunately I am unable to find any part numbers on these components. You video instructed that you INYO can help identify these parts if I can provide measurements. I have taken pictures that include the meaurements.    I am in hopes that you can be of assistance in getting the replacements parts I need in order to install this pool.    Is there a possibility there are some ‘universal’ replacements parts that will work inplace of these old components?    Can you provide the proper place to upload the measurement pictures I have?    My contact info - Barry Roberts - broberts2184@gmail.com and my phone number is 931-644-0176.

Hello Barry - Thank you for contacting Inyo. We don’t have universal parts but we may be able to determine the make and model of your pool.

Could you send us the following images?

  • Outside Pool Wall (top to bottom)
  • Top Cap
  • Top Rail
  • Top and Bottom Plate

If you have trouble posting the images to the forum, reply to the email notification with pictures. You can also email pictures to upload@inyopools.com.

Top Plate

Side wall

Top Cap

The above pictures are the components and measurements.    I would be glad to help with any additional information you may need in order to determine the components neccessary to erect this pool.    Kindest Regards,  Barry

This is the top rail.

My attempts at editing to add the component description wer not the best

In order form the top

  • Top PLate

  • Side Wall

  • Top Cap

  • Bottom Plate

  • Upright

  • Bottom Stabilizer.

  • Then seperate picture is the top rail

Would you also be able to advise on the proper flexible stabilizer I would need?    This flexible stabilizer I refer to is the flexible clip stabilizer which clips the liner to the side wall.    Then the Top Stabilizer goes over this.    I am truely greatful for any assistance you could provide.

It may be a bit difficult to make out, but the measurement for the bottom stabilizer length is 55-1/4 inchestip to tip.

I am confident the Top Rail and top plates are usable as well as a majority of the uprights.    The parts I want to replace are all of the Bottom Stabilizers, all of the Bottom Plates, all of the flexible top stabilizer and 5 Uprights.    As for the quantity on the Bottom plates and stabilizers should that be 18 or 20 pieces of each?

We do not carry parts for your pool. I’m trying to determine the make and model so that we can point you in the right direction. I’ll spend some additional time today and I’ll let you know what we come up with.

That would be great. thank you.    Even though you may not have direct replacement components, Could it be possible that there are components that could work as alternatives?

I really appreciate your extra efforts.  That means a great deal.

Could this pool possibly be a 30’ round Hampton brand pool?

I’m not familiar with a Hampton brand. However, the Hampton name is used on Cornelius brand pools. Your pictures don’t look like the Cornelius parts I’ve seen. You could try contacting Cornelius directly http://www.corneliuspools.com/english/index.html

Thanks.    What brand of pool do you believe this might be?

Maybe an old Delair or Home & Roam. It’s a pretty old model. Parts will be very hard to come by.

Based on the pictures I see, my suggestion would be to look at a complete pool replacement. The wall of your pool looks like it is deteriorating. You could run the risk of the wall splitting and the pool collapsing.

Thanks for all your help.

Would you care to give me some pointers on the pros / cons of a hard side pool versus a frame pool?

The hard sided pools last a lot longer than the soft-sided pools. However, the hard sided pools cost more up front.

Our above ground pool installer wrote an article on the soft-sided pools. It’s titled “The Scoop on Soft Sided Above Ground Pools”.

I noticed the page for your in ground pools isn’t working.  Does INYO offer inground pool kits?
