Into Pools or anyone else.
I fill my large capacity pool with well water through a 1-1/2 inch pvc pipe… water flows at about 40 psi Trouble is the water has a lot of fine red silt in it, which even though I filter through numerous layers of cheesecloth, fine silt still gets into the pool.
I am looking for some kind of an inexpensive, long, in-line sand filter which I could plumb into the supply line … just a simple 1-1/2 inch male or female thread on each end but the body of the filter would snap open for cleaning out the silt residue evey 4 hours or so, or when the flow gets restricted ( maybe a built in pressure valve to check flow ) but do NOT need multi-port valve to direct water flow …just in and out.
Anybody have any ideas on what might be availlable
