Hello. Is running a salt system at 100% for a set amount of time better than running it at 50% for twice as long? I`ve found that both methods are about equal in maintaining my pools chlorines levels. but I would like to know which is better for the life of the generator and cell? Thank you.
50% would be the way to go, as long as you can maintain 1-3 ppm of chlorine. The cell will last longer running at 50% versus 100%.
