Salt Problems

My Hayward Gold LIne no longer indicates a salt level. Says it’s “generating” but there’s is no chlorine in the pool and I’ve verified the salt is fine (added 240 pounds Tuesday). I replaced the mother board in February (order # 917104) and have recently installed 2 different  new salt cells with still no indication of salt. Other indications seem okay. Is it possible the mother board is bad? I did have an issue with Nitrates in the pool last month but according to my local pool provider that was resolved by draining and refilling the pool. Help!

Press the diagnostic button until you see the TCELL type. Does it match your salt cell? For example, the display should read T15 if you have a TCELL15.

Yes, T-15. Looking at a previous post I checked the amperage and both readings are 0.0. I replaced the motherboard in February Order #917104. Do I need a replacement? Isn’t mine still under warranty?
