Salt to No Salt System

I currently have a salt generator system & want to go back to a chlorine tablet dispensor type system. My pool water curently has a salt level of 3,200.

Do I need to do anything to remove the salt from the water, I know this means draining, or will leaving the salt in the water create any problem? If I need to drain, what would an acceptable salt level to reduce to, be?

Hello Joe001- You will not need to drain or dilute the water to go back to a chlorine tablet pool. The salt content will gradually decrease on its own over time as more fresh water from rain and the garden hose is introduced. You will have no adverse effects leaving the salt level where it is at.
