we have an Astrapool salt water chlorinator.  It is approx 4 years old and the entire unit is going to have to be replaced. We have a 35000 gallon in ground pool. Can you please tell us the best salt chlorination system

Thanks

Dana

Hello Dana - We would recommend the Crystal Pure model PL7703. This system will treat up to 60k gallons. It has a full 2-year warranty.

PureLine Pool Salt System 60,000 Gallons - PL7703

Less than a year ago I purchased the Pureline PL7703 system. I an having trouble with the control. All the readouts and lights seem to be working fine. However, my salt level reads 2600 ppm even though I have had the local pool supply check my salt levels and they reported 3200 ppm. Even though the readout shows low levels, if I turn on Super or Auto, within 15 minutes the warning light for High Salt comes on and the readout says HiS which is high salt. That means that the system is not producing chlorine so I have had to add chlorine to keep the water nice.

Is there a way to reset the system or is there something wrong that can't be easily remedied?

I sure could use some assistance.

George

So today I went back and checked and it is once again showing High Salt, but now the salt reports 5600 ppm. That is impossible. The pool supply says it is 3100 ppm. It just rained here for 2 days.

I don't understand....
