I have a salt water system for my pool and the auto re-fill systems is hooked up to the house soft water system therefore soft water is being put into my pool. Is this ok to do with a salt water system pool?
Hello Lgubbels - There is no issue with soft water and a salt water system. However, you will want to keep an eye on your calcium hardness level when you refill with soft water. Soft water can pull the calcium from the walls in order to balance itself. Over time this can corrode the wall. As long as you maintain a good calcium level, you will not have any issues.
