Built a small separtate sand filter for vacuuming pool so i dont lose water etc… wondering since this is NOT MY MAIN filter if small gravel and play sand would work in it as a subsitute for regular fitler sand… or would there be any ofter type of filtration media that would work better etc…
Thank you for contacting Inyo. You’d only want to use what the manufacturer recommends in the owner’s manual. This is usually a #20 silica sand.
