my sand is only 1 yr old. IO have a new 3hp var speed pump and i cant get the filter to build pressure the way it used to. I only see 1-2 ilbs of prsssure increase and very littlre debris backwashes out. I dont see signs of channeling and i have removed and washed out all the sand and reinstalled the same sand with no change. this pool is 45k gal so flauktreatment will be expensive. any suggestiojns???
We’d be glad to assist you. Is the low PSI happening when the pump is on low speed or is it happening on the high speed as well?
The pressure does change with any change in pump speed. But regardless of the speed the pressure only increases by about 1-2 lbs. after several days even w/ debris in the water.???
Are you seeing a lot of air bubbles in the pool? Are the jets weak?
