Our current pump for our above ground pool was bought brand new and only used for two seasons. During the second season, it got really loud. We were told we would have to replace the motor. Now that we are ready to start opening our pool, we want to replace the motor but am now being told from aquapro that it is just cheaper to replace the pump. That seems surprising to us that it would be cheaper to replace the pump rather than just the motor. We believe it got flooded from Hurricane Florence and that it might just be the bearings so we hate to pay $300 for another pump when maybe we can still fix the one we have. Just looking for advice before paying out the $300 for a whole new pump. Thank you
We can price out a motor for you. What is the catalog or part number on the motor label?
We have several complete pumps listed under $200.
