hi everyone,
I moved into a new house that has a pool, and have been taking care of it for a couple of month now. I have just realized that the skimmer float valve was staying in place sucked in to the bottom of the skimmer, but that I have no water flow to drag the surface debris in the skimmer. When I remove the float from the skimmer, everything works fine, Water gets sucked in and debris as well.
The float that is in place righ now does not have that little piece that allows to adjust its aperture at the bottom. Note that I have a weir flap properly in place.
Any idea why I cannot get the debris sucked in the skimmer when current float valve is in place ?
