T-Salt Cell or Board Problem?

Have an Aqualogic P/S-4 system with a Hayward Goldline T-15 cell.

  • cell intermittently shuts off chlorinator & shows high salt warning, salt level shows as 2700 on display
  • salt level is okay, within normal range, when store checked
  • cell is clean & 2 & 1/2 years old
  • if I turn off power to the pool eq for a couple of minutes or turn filter off & back on, warning goes off

Is this most probably a T-cell or master board problem?

It sounds like the cell is beginning to fail. The average lifespan is about 3 years.
