T15 cell

I have a Hayward Swimpure chlorine generator , T15 (40k) in a 25k pool, that has ceased / extremely reduced chlorine generation.

Power and gen lights are on normally, as is super chloronate when selected.  No warning lights .

Salt reads 2800 ( local store tests at 3100).  CYA is 40, ph is 7.3.  Store also tested cell  and said cell tested good. Display on control box reads approx 25 v and 5.4 amps when selected.

System is 10 years old, but has worked great till now.

Considering replacing whole system due to age.

Would love to get hands on used cell and see if all else is good, but that appears unlikely .

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Everything you described, points to the salt cell being bad. The control box appears to be working well. The average salt cell life is 3 years. If you still have the original cell, it’s likely past it’s prime.
