Tell replacement

just replaced my Hayward aql p 4 with a new GLXPCBMAIN.  It only shows a T5 orT15 cell but our cell was replaced with a T3.  Is the T3 compatible with the GLXPCBMAIN?    It does not seem to be reading the salt content correctly. The board shows 2900ppm but the water report shows that our salt levels are off the chart at 4800.  Help!

All AquaLogic circuit boards # GLX-PCB-MAIN were designed for T-Cell-5 (20,000 gallon pool) and T-Cell-15 (40,000 gallon pool) settings in the configuration. That was the main improvement from AquaLogic to ProLogic.

The T3 will not work properly with the AquaLogic system.

So I need to replace the T3 cell with a T5?   Aiden the Inyo robot said the T3 cell would work with the GLX PCB MAIN. I inquired about this logic board before purchasing 2 weeks ago and Aiden also stated that this was the correct replacement logic board.  Can you explain why the T3 isn’t compatible beyond the fact that the GLXPCBMAIN only has recognition of T5 and T15.

Thank you for your input.

The GLXPCBMAIN is the correct board for the AquaLogic. The T3 won’t receive the correct voltage and will not send back the correct diagnostic information. Hayward was unable to confirm if it will generate chlorine.
