I have a 20-year old pool/system with
single speed filter pump that is probably dying
non-functional single speed pump that runs the in-floor cleaning system
Aqua Rite chlorinator that we no longer use
Compool cp3810 controller
raypak gas heater that is non-functional (we never used it much)
sta-rite filter that seems to be fine
we have a built-in pool cover, the in-ground pool is about 24,000 gallons
I am looking to replace the pumps (is it wise to just change the motor on a 20-year old sta-rite pump?) but would like to know if I should take out some of these components that I’m not using, and if anything is really outdated. It might be nice to change to a solar heater but the equipment is far from a roof.
Thanks for any suggestions
