Variable pump replacement

Hello!

I recently purchased a house with this setup and single speed pump. I would like to replace it with a variable speed pump. Can anyone recommend an economical option and give me some advice on how to replace this myself?

If you want to replace the complete pump, we recommend the PureLine Prime model PL2605. The PL2605 is a 1.65HP variable speed pump with 2" ports.

If you want to replace the motor and keep the existing pump, the motor would be model ECM16SQU. The ECM16SQU is a 1.65HP variable speed motor.
