Water pump for a solar water heater for a pool

Looking for a pump recommendation. I have installed a solar water heater. Pump needs to be low flow, quiet, self priming and ok to use with salt water. It will run around 6 hours per day. The water runs through about 800 feet of small tubing. Pump will be located about 25 feet from pool and 30 feet from solar panels. Distance from solar panels to pool is approximately 60 feet and water will need to be lifted about 8 feet. I am using a regular garden hose from the pool to the pump and back from solar panels. Trying to keep price reasonable since i am not sure if this is going to get the temp up enough. Low flow would be below 750 GPH.

Dusty - Did you find any information on your challenge?  I’m sorry I don’t know the answer but I did have a very similar challenge (Best Pump for my Strange Plan :-)) and wanted to know if you had found any answers.  Thank you.

Based on your requirements, I would recommend the Intex Krystal Clear Sand Filter Pump. It has a flow rate of 1,200 gallons per hour, which is more than enough for your needs and can be adjusted to a lower flow rate. It’s also self-priming, quiet, and suitable for use with saltwater.

In addition, it comes with a built-in timer that allows you to set the operating hours for the pump, which is ideal for your usage of 6 hours per day. The pump is also easy to install and maintain, and the sand filter helps to keep the water clean.

As for the distance from the pool and solar panels, the Intex Krystal Clear Sand Filter Pump should work fine as it has a maximum head height of 16 feet, which is enough to lift the water 8 feet from the pool to the solar panels and back. The cost is also reasonable and affordable for its features and capabilities.

Overall, the Intex Krystal Clear Sand Filter Pump is a great choice for your solar water heating system, and it should meet your needs and requirements.
