My pool water tests OK but it has a musty smell. Any suggestions?

Solar blanket only, smell is there long after the solar cover is off.

Hello Markfl - We recommend shocking the pool. This will oxidize the water and it should eliminate that smell.

Over the last two weeks with the hot weather I have shocked the pool 3 times. I will be shocking it tonight as well so I will super chlorinate it this time and see what happens.
