The Waterway Champion is a high-performance inground pump that was engineered to increase strength and water flow. The housing is made of thermoplastic to reduce noise and the pump is equipped with two swivel union assemblies great for precise alignment and plumbing versatility.
The adjustable base allows users to adapt this pump to retrofit many of the existing pumps today. This makes it an ideal replacement pool pump for a pool of any size.

Does the unions on this pump require gaskets?. I went to connect mine and I don't have any gaskets in the union. Do you have the part number of the union and the gasket?

would this be a good choice to replace a jandy shpf-.50?

Yes this would be a great replacement for a jandy shpf-.50 please note the plumbing ports are not in the exact same location as the Jandy so you will have a little re-plumbing but nothing major.

Have not installed it yet but lm well pleased with the pump, the person i chatted with was right on the money when he recommeded it in place of my whisper flow
