Is it possible to replace the light housing while using the existing electric cable?

You cannot use your existing light cable.  You will need to pull the new cord through the conduit on the new light.

How can I determine the type of niche? I believe it is a Hayward niche - the niche has a bolt at the bottom for the fixture to fit over and a hole at the top for a screw. Thanks, Jeff Lucado

Hi Jeff, The niche will have a model # on it. The Astrolite will fit into the Hayward DuraNiches and Stainless Steel Niches.

I have to replace a Hayward sp-540-z1 pool light but not sure what fits in the niche of this lighting. The ;hole for the screw is on an angle for the niche. It was not placed correctly when placed. So the other lighting had two screws. Need to find a lighting that fits. The niche is smooth Please advise my options. Thx

Hi Serg, The Hayward SP-540-Z1 number is for the Lens which can be used on several Hayward lights. If you can send us photos along will the dimensions of the light and niche we can locate a replacement.
