We spoke with our Intermatic rep. and he stated the replacement timer mechanism for the  RC2301PT is the PB913N66 ($44.99) here >http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02400001004523.htm our rep. stated that the original timer mechanism came with wire leads and the new replacement does not so you would have to add your own wire leads to this part. Due to how old the RC2301PT is Intermatic suggested replacing the entire unit with the RC2343PT

Hello Al - The Intermatic RC2403RT is no longer available. The RC2403RT was a four function and a single function in one box. The replacement would require two separate pieces. The first is model number RC2343PT and the second is RC2103S.

Hi Peter, I was unable to locate any info on model no. RC2491RT, I would recommend comparing the spec that we have listed on the RC2343PT to see if it will work as a replacement.
