What makes up the "cell" in this unit and is this "cell" used in each of the three models - 600, 1200 and 2400

The "cell" for these units is composed of two parts: the cathode kit (item 2500-23) and the anode kit (item 2500-22). This pair is used in all three models.

I have had the unichlor 1200 for several years. When I installed it the salt recommendation was for Morton yellow bag pellets. Morton has changed the formulation of the pellets to add some better results as a softener salt. Do you know if this new formulation affects its use as a chlorine salt?

Hi Bob, The salt must be at a minimum of 96.6 % pure so as long as the new Morton formulation meets these standards you are fine. You can also use the Gems brand.

Looking for an old ANTHONY in-line Venturi...about 11” long, PN 001-3401, I think. Thanks.

Michael, the replacement venturi for your PN 001-3401 would be the Venturi, Model 500 With Fittings (001-3404)
