Will the internal thread on this fitting accept a 1 1/2" NPT pipe nipple? I want to install a valve for ease of cleaning. I had one on my last Sta Rite filter so I know its possible with the right fitting.

Hi Steve, The Adapter Fitting can take a 1-1/2 NPT fitting.
