How can I determine the type of niche? I believe it is a Hayward niche - the niche has a bolt at the bottom for the fixture to fit over and a hole at the top for a screw.

Hi Jeff, The niche will have a model # on it. The Astrolite will fit into the Hayward DuraNiches and Stainless Steel Niches.
