I have a Challenger Pentair 2-1/2 HP Pump, Model # CHII-N1-2 1/2 AE. I need to replace the motor, but it doesn't have a model #, the Part # is 0-168786-07. The problem is, none of the motors on this web site match the pump model #. Do you think this motor will work on my pump, also would it be better to pay the extra $40 and get the energy efficient model. Thx for your help.

Hi John, The B840 is the correct replacement motor for the CHII-N1-2 1/2 AE pump. You can use the B843 as an energy efficient replacement, the EE motor will definitely pay for itself and make up the difference.
