Hello Tyne, This o-ring replaces the cartridge lid o-ring for the Jandy CS Series Cartridge Filter. If you are leaking after tightening the filter lid down, it is very likely you need to replace the o-ring. We also recommend using Magic Lube O-ring Lubricant on all of your o-rings to extend their lifespan.
