36,000 gallon in ground pool
1-HP Hayward pump
S310T (500 pound) Sand filter

Seems like a lot more filter than needed AND thinking about a Variable speed pump..... am I going to have filtering issues with reducing the GPM?

Hi Kurt, You will not have a filtering issue when the rpm's are reduced.
