I don't know what brand of light I have now. All I know is it has to be replaced. As long as it screws in will this one work?

Hi Curt, These light bulb will not fit into any light fixture. If you can send us photos of the light fixture along with the dimensions we can try to identify the light fixture and confirm if this bulb will fit.
