The house i just bought came with this pump and filter system but the pump is bad, only hums when plugged in. It currently has the 1/2 horsepower motor on it, is there any benefit to getting the 3/4 hp motor instead?

Hi Caitlynn, If you currently have the 4510 model then you will not be able to use the 3/4HP pump. The 3/4HP pump is to be used with the 4511 unit.
