Looks like my 5 year old Hayward SP1607Z1M died over the winter... justifying my desire to replace with a timer/variable unit touch as this one (B2982T).
1. From what I've provided, can you confirm that this sounds like the appropriate replacement? (I have a Square Flange Hayward Super Pump)
2. Can you confirm the length (long dimension along shaft) of the motor? (Things are "tight" in my current arrangement- hoping this motor is comparable in physical size to my current)

Hi Matt, You will actually need the B975T motor not the B2982T for the Hayward Super Pump. The B975T motor length is 12.55" including the shaft.
